Our Story
Two librarians, Tim Hackman and Rich Sigwald, by chance of discussing weekend plans discovered their mutual affinity for the grappling artform that is professional wrestling. The next logical step was to begin watching wrestling from the past and wrestling interviews personalities from all levels of the sport for this wrestling podcast

Tim Hackman
Tim Hackman has been an academic librarian for over 20 years and has worked in library management for 10+ years. He grew up a huge WWF fan (especially Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Tito Santana, and the British Bulldogs) but fell off sometime around 1989. He picked it up again in college, during the height of the Monday Night Wars, and attended his first wrestling show -- a WWF Monday Night Raw in Baltimore -- in 1998. (He's reasonably certain this was the show.)
Tim is originally from Red Lion, PA, attended Shippensburg University (PA) and has master's degrees in library science (2002) and English language and literature (2006) from the University of Maryland. He lives in Norfolk, VA with his wife, Jackie and his dog, Otto, a Chin/Pug/Maltese/Dachshund mix (#chinpug). Professional info about Tim can be found on his blog.
Rich Sigwald
Rich Sigwald is a legislative librarian originally from Baltimore, MD. He grew up in Catonsville and Arbutus, MD, just outside of Baltimore. Some of the most memorable times of his youth were going to local indie wrestling shows at the Catonsville Armory and some area high schools. A life-changing moment was when Rich won tickets to the King of the Ring pay-per-view in Baltimore. This was the first WWF show Rich ever attended. Besides several Raw and Smackdown tapings, Rich also attended the 1995 Survivor Series in Landover, MD and the 2003 No Mercy from Baltimore. Rich enjoys attending AEW and Ring of Honor shows in the Baltimore/DC area.
Rich attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Music. Rich studied trumpet with Wayne Cameron and composition with Stuart Saunders Smith. Rich obtained his Masters in Library and Information Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2014. Rich also does all the sound editing and composed all the music used in the show.
